Holy Week Schedule

Holy Week is the final, most sacred week of Lent, spanning from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. It is a time set apart for believers to journey with Jesus through his final days, focusing on his passion, death, and resurrection.

Palm Sunday (Sunday of the Passion)-Sunday, March 29: Commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, where he was greeted with palm branches, while also beginning the reading of the Passion narrative.

Monday–Wednesday: Often observed with mid-week services focusing on the events leading to the betrayal, including the anointing at Bethany and Judas' pact with the chief priests.

Maundy Thursday (Thursday, April 2): Marks the end of Lent and the beginning of the "Three Holy Days" (Triduum). It commemorates the Last Supper, the institution of the Lord's Supper (Holy Communion), the washing of the disciples' feet, and the new commandment to love one another.

Good Friday (Friday, April 3) : A solemn day of reflection on Jesus' crucifixion and death.

Holy Saturday: A day of quiet waiting, silence, and reflection on Jesus resting in the tomb.
Easter Sunday (Sunday, April 4): The joyous celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord, marking victory over sin, death, and the devil.
