Resumption of Activities at Faith

As you read the information below, you’ll note there are a number of activities all of which are resuming at the church, in person.

We have learned much from our worship service COVID-19 safety protocols, and those same principles will be used going forward for the resumption of the activities below, including use of masks in the building, physical distancing, ensuring use of disinfectant wipes on washroom surfaces after use is completed, no interpersonal sharing of food/beverages, no physical contact etc. You serve God by serving your neighbour in following these safety protocols. Thank you!

 

Joy Circle Update

Joy Circle women’s Bible study began meeting on Tue., Sept. 15, 2020. We plan to meet each Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. until Dec. 1, 2020. We will continue our studies on Forgiveness by Donna Pyle but may consider something new in the near future. For more details, please contact Eunice Koehler at 306-242-9506. 

 

 

Peace Circle News

The Peace Circle women’s Bible study will resume meeting for their Bible Study starting on Tuesday, October 13th at 1:30 pm and continuing on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. The topic of study will be determined by the group.

 

Senior’s Luncheon

Seniors lunches are opening again with restricted attendance to a maximum of 24 people: first come, first served. If you want to participate in this trial please contact Renate @ 306.343.0156 or 306.321.5202 or hisrib@shaw.ca so a list can be developed. Covid-19 distancing will apply. This Seniors Lunch is Thursday, September 24 at 12 noon,; pre-registration is required by Monday, September 21. Following lunch (prepare and served in accordance with the Government of Saskatchewan COVID-19 protocols), a travelogue presentation will be given by Dennis Kendel. We hope to see you there!                                              

Men’s Bible Study

“Being a Christian in a Democracy” will be our first Bible study. What are the roles and responsibilities of Christian citizens living in a democracy? How does our Lutheran faith inform our life in a democracy? Please join us for this weekly Bible study, running weekly, starting Wednesday, September 23 from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m.(ish).

 

Newsletter Articles and Photos requested

The deadline for submission of all articles and pictures for the next edition of FaithWorks (our church’s newsletter) is Mon., Sept. 21st. You may drop off the materials at the church (place in the church mail slot by the front door if there is no answer) or email them to Renate Bishopp (rbbishopp@shaw.ca-yes, this is the correct email as per Renate’s request.
